Speaker reel
I teach people how to listen in a way that saves lives. TEDx. DEBx. Global Possibility Summit. Founder of Untamed Today, artist and producer at Soul Frequency Records.
I teach the HEAL Method. Honor. Express. Adjust. Love.
And I ask every room the same thing. Find your DACL. A Dedicated Active Curious Listener. One person who stays.
I do not motivate people to hustle harder. I invite them to listen deeper, to their bodies, their inner truth, and the stories shaping their lives beneath the surface. That is where real transformation begins.
Invite Jesse to speakWatch the talks
Three stages, three stories. In Chicago I told a room I wanted to die. First time I ever said it out loud on a stage.
TEDx Wilmington. Listening, embodiment, and what we lose to silence.
Global Possibility Summit, Chicago. The talk where Jesse said it out loud for the first time.
Family trauma, truth-telling, and generational healing.
What Jesse speaks on
Listening as an embodied practice that builds trust, settles conflict, and restores connection in families, workplaces, and communities.
Grief as cyclical and seasonal, not linear. For people moving through death, divorce, identity shifts, career endings, and major transitions without rushing or bypassing.
A compassionate, trauma-informed approach that centers presence over fixing: recognizing emotional signals, reducing stigma, and staying connected.
How unspoken family dynamics shape adult behavior, relationships, and leadership. Awareness, responsibility, and healing without blame.
A masculinity that includes emotional literacy, accountability, and connection, for straight, gay, bi, and curious men navigating identity, intimacy, and fatherhood.
Building a sustainable business that honors nervous system health, relationships, and personal values. Intuition with strategy, purpose with profit.
Keynote or featured speaker. Podcast guest for long-form, unscripted conversation. Retreat faculty and workshop collaborator. Men's groups, leadership events, healing summits, and entrepreneurship conferences. International and virtual options available.
The Turning Stones Show
Turning Stones explores the human experience through thoughtful conversations and honest questions. Join us as we create space for conscious awareness, discover purpose, and walk the unfolding path together. Each episode a step in the Universe's ongoing evolution.
The show ran for two seasons and more than forty conversations about what happens when consciousness starts to expand faster than the language we have for it. David Marsh and Jesse James Ferrell hosted, joined every week by a guest co-host and a featured guest. That format kept the room honest. Nobody sat in the same chair long enough to get comfortable.
The conversations went where the guests took them. Near-death experiences and what people carried back. Neuroscience and the working edges of medicine. Plant medicine, food, brain health, and the ordinary daily choices that quietly decide how a body ages. Music as a doorway. Authors who had spent decades on a single question and were still turning it over.
Some episodes ended in silence. Some ended in laughter. Most did both. It was built for people who would rather keep asking. Enjoy the show. We loved every hour of it, and we are grateful for the time we had together.

Vignette of each episode
Each week we made a short video vignette to preview the conversation ahead. Start with these. Let one of them catch you, then go find that episode. There will be another waiting when you return.
Laugh with me
Every show has bloopers. Ours have Jesseisms. Most of these are people laughing at me being me. Watch a few. You will understand my humor better than you might want to.

The Emotional Man
The Emotional Man is a short film built on the stories of people who survived the night they did not think they would survive. Alongside them are doctors, authors, and mental health professionals who explain what is actually happening in the mind when the dark gets loud. The film does not stop at the story. It invites the viewer into practice. Sit with the breath. Interrupt the thought before it finishes the sentence. Begin building a future the pain said was not coming.
I produced and created it after living through my own suicidal ideation, because the film I needed then did not exist.
The film
The mission
I am Jesse James Ferrell. Untamed Today exists for the men and women taught to carry it quietly, and for anyone in the LGBTQ+ community who has ever wondered whether the world would be lighter without them. I lived through my own suicidal ideation. What changed things was not answers. It was a friend who stayed present instead of trying to fix me, and a quiet voice in me that said stay.
That is the whole mission. Make that kind of listening ordinary. Not experts with solutions. People who ask how you really are and stay for the answer.
Silence is not strength. Letting someone walk beside you is.
The speaking
I speak to audiences about listening, emotional health, and what survival actually asks of the people around us. That work has taken me to the TEDx stage, the DEBx stage, and the Global Possibility stage. The talks are not a recap of the film. Each one takes a different door into the same room. What we lose to silence, what changes when one person refuses to leave, and what becomes possible on the other side of staying.
The music: Edge of My Own Light
Edge of My Own Light is the music campaign behind it all. A body of songs, each written from a specific ache and answered with a hand extended. Every song exists in two versions, one built to move a room and one built to sit with you in a quiet one, and each is paired with a written piece from The Untamed Codex. The campaign runs for Suicide Awareness Month, and the work is meant to outlast the month. A song can reach a person who will never read an article and will never call anyone. That is the point.
Watch the film. Listen to the record. Then go ask someone how they really are, and stay for the answer.
